By accessing or using the CoachLink mobile application and web platform (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not create an account or use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and CoachLink LLC, a Michigan limited liability company ("CoachLink," "we," "our," or "us"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
PLEASE READ SECTION 20 (DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND ARBITRATION) AND SECTION 21 (CLASS ACTION WAIVER) CAREFULLY. THEY AFFECT YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT.
CoachLink is a multi-sided software platform designed for the US combat sports industry, including mixed martial arts (MMA) and boxing. The Service provides tools for:
CoachLink facilitates connections between these parties but is not itself a promoter, sanctioning body, athletic commission, employer, or party to any bout agreement. CoachLink does not organize, sanction, or supervise combat sports events.
3.1 Age Requirement — You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Service. Users between 13 and 17 may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
3.2 Account Accuracy — You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to keep that information updated.
3.3 Account Security — You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at info@coach-link.ai if you become aware of any unauthorized use.
3.4 One Account Per Person — Each individual or organization may maintain only one active account unless expressly authorized by CoachLink in writing.
The Service supports multiple user roles: Fighter, Coach, Promoter, Matchmaker, and Administrator. Each role carries different permissions and responsibilities. By selecting a role, you represent that you are qualified to act in that capacity. Coaches who represent fighters acknowledge authority to act on those fighters' behalf for the bout booking workflow. Promoters represent that events will comply with applicable state athletic commission rules.
5.1 The bout booking pipeline is a workflow tool. CoachLink is not a party to any bout agreement, compensation arrangement, or event contract.
5.2 Bout agreements executed through the e-signature feature constitute legally binding contracts under the ESIGN Act and UETA. CoachLink is not a party to those agreements.
5.3 You are solely responsible for reviewing and complying with bout agreement terms. CoachLink's clause library and templates are starting points only and do not constitute legal advice.
5.4 Use of the platform does not guarantee that any bout will be offered, accepted, or performed.
You acknowledge that combat sports involve inherent and significant physical risks, including serious injury or death. CoachLink is a software platform; it does not provide training, coaching, medical supervision, or in-person services. You assume full responsibility for your own safety and the safety of those you represent.
Health data you voluntarily provide is processed as described in our Privacy Policy. CoachLink is not a healthcare provider and readiness scores are for athletic performance purposes only and do not constitute medical advice.
You retain ownership of your content. By submitting content, you grant CoachLink a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and transmit it solely to operate the Service. Content must not infringe third-party rights, contain false information, or include abusive or illegal material. CoachLink reserves the right to remove violating content.

Certain features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis and auto-renew. You may cancel at any time through your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. For billing errors, contact info@coach-link.ai within 30 days.
All software, code, designs, trademarks, logos, and documentation are owned by CoachLink LLC or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service.
The Service integrates with Stripe (payments), SendGrid (email), and Expo (push notifications). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms. CoachLink is not responsible for third-party content, practices, or availability.
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COACHLINK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) AMOUNTS PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100.00.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless CoachLink LLC from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or any combat sports activity arranged through the Service.
You may terminate your account at any time. CoachLink may suspend or terminate your account for material breach, fraudulent activity, or non-payment. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that should survive (including Sections 6, 8, 11, 14, 15, 16, 18, 20, and 21) shall survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Subject to Section 20, any legal action shall be brought exclusively in Michigan state or federal courts.
CoachLink may modify these Terms at any time with at least 14 days' notice through in-app notification and email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
THIS SECTION REQUIRES YOU TO ARBITRATE DISPUTES WITH COACHLINK AND LIMITS HOW YOU MAY SEEK RELIEF.
Before initiating arbitration, contact info@coach-link.ai and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. If informal resolution fails, any dispute shall be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by the AAA under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, conducted in Michigan.
YOU AND COACHLINK AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN YOUR OR ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
Severability: If any provision is found invalid, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary. No Waiver: Failure to enforce any right shall not constitute a waiver. Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement. Assignment: You may not assign rights without CoachLink's written consent. Force Majeure: CoachLink is not liable for delays from causes beyond its control.
